 Meet the maker

My annoying habit of folding napkins, receipts and gum wrappers has finally
found its place...

When I was 14 I was lucky enough to be given the opportunity to travel to Japan as part of an exchange program. This is where I met one of my closest friends, Rie, who introduced me to the art of origami. Since then I have remained fascinated with origami and how you are able to create something so beautiful from a piece of paper.

I continued to teach myself different forms of origami and would annoy my friends and family by always having to make something out of my napkins and receipts. You could tell where I had visited by the trail of origami I had left behind.

Making origami became quite therapeutic for me and soon, being the craft addict I am, I developed my origami mobiles, installations, and other products.

I have been selling my products at various markets for over 7 years.

The biggest feat for me was when I made 1000 paper cranes as a wedding gift for my friend Rie on her wedding day.

I have provided many homes with unique Origami Craft pieces. I have been comissioned to create eye catching pieces for weddings and events. You are able to see my installations in various Perth businesses.

I not only love the history of origami and what it represents, I love sharing and finding my pieces a loving home.
